The National Cricket League, Inc. (NCL) announces the joining of Professor Paul Anderson in NCL team
Milwaukee, WI February 12th, 2018: The National Cricket League, Inc. (NCL) is delighted to announce the joining of Professor Paul Anderson as a national adviser on NCL’s national advisory board. Professor Paul Anderson is the Director of the National Sports Law Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Marquette University Law School. He is the supervisor and co-faculty adviser of the Marquette Sports Law Review and the author of numerous articles and several books including Major League Leases: An Overview of Major League Facility Leases and How They Are Negotiated (2001) with Miller, Introduction to Sports Law (2009), and Introduction to Sports Law (2nd Ed. 2016) with Spengler, Connaughton, and Baker. He is the co-editor of Sports Betting and the Law (ASSER International Sports Law Centre, 2012).
Dr. Anderson is also a reviewer and emeritus editor for the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport, and reviewer for Communication and Sport (a peer-reviewed quarterly journal that publishes research to foster international scholarly understanding of the nexus of communication and sport) published by Sage Publications. He is a member of the advisory board for the International Sports Law Journal, ASSER International Sports Law Centre, The Hague, Netherlands. He is the past-chair of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a member of the ABA’s Forum on the Sports and Entertainment Industries, the Sports Lawyers Association, the Sport and Recreation Law Association, and the International Association of Sports Law.
NCL believes Dr. Paul Anderson’s involvement, advice and expertise in Sports and Entertainment Law will be helpful to popularize cricket in the United States by organizing a national level cricket league, providing cricket equipment and cricket infrastructure development services.

The National Cricket League announces the 1st National Cricket League - 2018
Milwaukee, WI October 10th, 2017: The National Cricket League, Inc. (NCL) is pleased to announce the 1st National Cricket League - 2018 in Milwaukee, WI from June 29th - July 4th, 2018. Details regarding this league would be available soon.
As the league would include only state-level teams, the NCL invites interested state cricket team organizers and/or sponsors to put together a team with the best available talents in their respective states.
This league aims to promote talented players and establish a pipeline of players toward professional league as well as the United States national cricket team. So the NCL would like to request all prospective sponsors to step forward and help to organize a competitive national level cricket league.

The National Cricket League announces partnership with Global Sports Ventures
Milwaukee, WI April 5th, 2017: The National Cricket League, Inc. (NCL) is pleased to announce an association with Global Sports Ventures, LLC (GSV) led by Chairman of Global Sports Ventures, LLC and Rohan Group of Companies, Mr. Jignesh (Jay) Pandya. Global Sports Ventures recently entered into a $70 million licensing agreement with United States America Cricket Association (USACA) to start a professional Twenty20 (T20) league in the United States. To bring this vision to reality, GSV has also announced plans to invest $2.4 billion to build eight cricket stadiums across the United States to professionalize the game in this country. The proposed eight stadiums, each having a capacity of 26,000+/- is being planned in New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Illinois and California that would create as many as 17,800 new jobs in the United States.
NCL, on the other hand, is involved in organizing national/divisional cricket leagues, promoting talented players, introducing cricket in public and private recreational and school programs, developing cricket infrastructure by providing cricket coaching academy services and umpire training, and developing states and age-group based teams.
NCL & GSV share the vision of professionalizing cricket in the United States and have agreed to work together in their efforts in developing the sport of cricket in the country.
