The National Cricket League (NCL), Inc. is providing cricket equipment, and will be providing league organizing services and professional cricket coaching as a combined cricket package service in US cricket market.
Sports
The NCL sports is providing high-quality cricket equipment and casual apparel that is designed specifically for professional/semi-professional sports athletes. Cricket bats, balls, pads, protective accessories, shoes, tees, polo’s, autographed jerseys are just a few of the product lines that the company will offer. The NCL sports is working with several manufacturers around the world to build our inventory. This system will provide more capacity while decreasing production costs. In order to lower costs, a strong online presence, through online communities and advertising, will be utilized to drive a grass root-level marketing campaign.
League
The NCL will be organizing yearly cricket leagues at the divisional and national level with the necessary logistic support. Initially, the National league would be divided into eight regions – Pacific & Noncontiguous, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, Northeast, Southeast, Atlantic / Upper Southeast, Midwest and Far Midwest.
The NCL will appoint divisional recruiting specialists across the United States, who will have a thorough knowledge of all divisional cricket clubs and will also serve as divisional liaisons, organizing and overseeing the manner in which the local tournaments are played, and ensuring the efficient administration of annual regional draft(s).
The NCL will have at least two or more cricket grounds available (leased) for large divisional championship tournaments. Along with the industry’s stakeholders, the NCL will design and develop a national draft process for a fair selection procedure and robust financial support system which will allow the best and most ambitious cricket athletes to take up cricket as a profession.
Infrastructure
The NCL will be developing cricket infrastructure by providing cricket coaching academy services and umpire training, promoting talented players, introducing cricket in public and private recreational and school programs, and developing states and age-group based teams. Cricket coaching centers at the divisional level will be operated by a group of experienced cricket professionals and coaches. Shakib Al Hasan (International Professional Athlete) will lead, advise, monitor and be closely involved with the NCL’s coaching in order to provide an international and professional level coaching for current and future professional athletes.
The NCL will recruit divisional coaches and plan to rent at least one facility in every region. The divisional coach will play a vital role in shaping and mentoring individuals to become viable athletes for the national draft, affording divisional cricket players the opportunity to play for the national cricket league under the guidance of the NCL’s national coaching director.
The NCL will offer detailed and well-organized classes and training to those individuals interested in becoming cricket umpires or coaches. Such classes and training would take place in existing training facilities.
