Dr. Paul Anderson National Adviser | Sports & Entertainment Law
Professor Paul Anderson is the Director of the National Sports Law Institute and an Adjunct Professor at Marquette University Law School. He is the supervisor and co-faculty adviser of the Marquette Sports Law Review and the author of numerous articles and several books including Major League Leases: An Overview of Major League Facility Leases and How They Are Negotiated (2001) with Miller, Introduction to Sports Law (2009), and Introduction to Sports Law (2nd Ed. 2016) with Spengler, Connaughton, and Baker. He is the co-editor of Sports Betting and the Law (ASSER International Sports Law Centre, 2012).
Dr. Anderson is also a reviewer and emeritus editor for the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport, and reviewer for Communication and Sport (a peer-reviewed quarterly journal that publishes research to foster international scholarly understanding of the nexus of communication and sport) published by Sage Publications. He is a member of the advisory board for the International Sports Law Journal, ASSER International Sports Law Centre, The Hague, Netherlands. He is the past-chair of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a member of the ABA’s Forum on the Sports and Entertainment Industries, the Sports Lawyers Association, the Sport and Recreation Law Association, and the International Association of Sports Law.
Dr. Paul Anderson has joined as a national adviser on NCL’s national advisory board. NCL believes Dr. Paul Anderson’s involvement, advice and expertise in Sports and Entertainment Law will be helpful to popularize cricket in the United States by organizing a national level cricket league, providing cricket equipment and cricket infrastructure development services.
