The National Cricket League (NCL), Inc. is providing cricket equipment, professional cricket academy and league organizing services as a combined cricket package service in US cricket market.
The NCL sports is providing high-quality cricket equipment and casual apparel that is designed specifically for professional/semi-professional sports athletes. Cricket bats, balls, pads, protective accessories, shoes, tees, polo’s, autographed jerseys are just a few of the product lines that the company will offer. The NCL sports is working with several manufacturers around the world to build our inventory. This system will provide more capacity while decreasing production costs. In order to lower costs, a strong online presence, through online communities and advertising, will be utilized to drive a grass root-level marketing campaign.
The NCL is establishing cricket academies at the regional level with the help of a group of experienced cricket professionals and coaches. Shakib Al Hasan (International Professional Athlete) will lead, advise, monitor and be closely involved with the NCL’s academy in order to provide an international and professional level coaching for current and future professional athletes.
The NCL will recruit regional coaches and plan to rent at least one facility in every region. The regional coach will play a vital role in shaping and mentoring individuals to become viable athletes for the national draft, affording regional cricket players the opportunity to play for the national cricket league under the guidance of the NCL’s national coaching director.
The NCL will offer detailed and well-organized classes and training to those individuals interested in becoming cricket umpires or coaches. Such classes and training would take place in existing training facilities.
The NCL’s goal is to organize cricket leagues at the regional and national level with the necessary logistic support. Initially, the National league would be divided into eight regions – Pacific, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, Noncontiguous, Northeast, Southeast and Midwest.
The NCL will appoint regional recruiting specialists across the United States, who will have a thorough knowledge of all regional cricket clubs and will also serve as regional liaisons, organizing and overseeing the manner in which the local tournaments are played, and ensuring the efficient administration of annual regional draft(s).
The NCL will have at least two or more cricket grounds available (leased) for large regional championship tournaments. Along with the industry’s stakeholders, the NCL will design and develop a national draft process for a fair selection procedure and robust financial support system which will allow the best and most ambitious cricket athletes to take up cricket as a profession.
